We were stopping for the night and read the reviews so we gave it a shot. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. Food was great! The calzone was delish! The kids loved their spaghetti and my husband like the meatball sub. The only complaint is some of the mozzarella sticks didn't have much cheese, but over all Great dinner, good sized portions and nice atmosphere.
Absolutely Fantastic experience!! We were greeted with a smile! Our food was served hot, fresh and fast!! Delicious flavors at reasonable prices!! Their meatballs were So So Good!! Tortellini was Incredible!! Huge portions so plenty of leftovers!! 10 out of 10 for sure
We enjoyed our lunch! Our server, Courtnee greeted us when we walked and promptly came over to introduce herself and take our drink orders. A table of 5 - we had Stromboli, pizza, fried mushroom app, subs/onion rings, oh and I cannot forget the Bruschetta (it was sooooo good). Everything was delicious and we had leftovers. Sooooo with that being said, don’t believe everything you read on Facebook. We will be back!
I haven’t been here in years. After many great reviews regarding the new management , we decided to give it a go. For lunch we ordered a whole Sicilian pizza with pepperoni and a steak and cheese sub to go. They were both delicious and the pricing is very reasonable. The restaurant itself could definitely use a good renovation as it looks the same as it did 20 years ago. However we are still very happy.
We heard good things about Sal's and wanted to check it out when in the area. We were not disappointed. The food is great, service was awesome! The layout of the restaurant was normal with it split into two sides. It wasn't really busy when we went at 8pm. The kids pizza was huge! The best part about that is every Thursday kids eat free! So it was like we got a free pizza! Pretty awesome! The stromboli was so good! We got the chicken Alfredo one. My son's meat lovers pizza truly had tons of meat! All in all best bang for your buck! If you decide to stop in you won't be disappointed, and leave full as anything! Enjoy!
This is the second time that we had take out from Sal's in the last week, once for lunch and the other for dinner. After avoiding this restaurant for the last several years (food quality and taste went way downhill) the recent reviews of the great food and experience under the, truly new management, lead us to try it again. We are so glad that we did as we were pleasantly surprised! We had pizza and italian subs both times. They were delicious and consistent. We think it.is.even better than the original Sals from years ago, but if not better, certainly a tie. We are so glad that we found a great pizza locally! The only criticism that we could give is that the bread on the sub was not strong enough to stand up to the italian sauce and we asked for the pizza to be well done, crispy on the bottom, but that was not acheived. But again, even in light of that, we loved our food and the online ordering was simple and successful.
They were starting to get busy, but we were able to get a table for our group of four. We had our order for a couple of appetizers to share, and drinks first. We ordered s large pizza with pepperoni and sausage that we all shared. Everything was hot and delicious, and our server was very attentive. She talked us into a couple of desserts, and we were happy she did! We enjoyed everything, Definitely wil be back!
After hearing of the change in ownership, tried Sals again after many years. Placed multiple orders in the past montg for pickup. 1st order had a mistake that they made up for. The rest have been great. Just picked up a couple Strombolis and a garlic bread tonight. It's not the cheapest, but damn good.
